Global eLearning is pleased to announce an ongoing monthly series that will showcase thought leaders from around the globe.  This new format will provide professionals in the Learning & Development industry with thoughtful conversations and stories that are shaping the way we adapt to training our global audiences.  The Global eLearning Thought Leader Series is a collection of experts and thought leaders from around the world.

 

 

The series will kick off on Tuesday, May 18 with world renowned author and expert, Ray Walsh, “Localizing Employee Communications: A Handbook.”  Ray is best known for helping multinational organizations with communications, content creation and  management, and developing practitioner skills.   He is an American communications consultant based in Prague and has been working for global companies for more than 20 years.

The Global eLearning Thought Leader series will be hosted by Gary Schulties and Matt Patterson of Global eLearning.   The video series will be available to all subscribers of Global eLearning’s YouTube channel and across a variety of social media platforms.

Topics and thought leaders for the upcoming schedule includes:

  • 18 May – Ray Walsh, a global communications leader will discuss communication challenges and solutions for a global workforce/community
  • 15 June – David Kelly, The Learning Guild will discuss evolving leadership skills that separate great from mediocre leaders
  • 20 July – Volker Kunze, Team Lead Digital Solutions at Additive Minds Academy discussing eLearning trends for the decade of the 20’s
  • 17 August – Gilbert Segura, Chief Technology Officer at Global eLearning discussing technology, techniques and processes to mitigate localization costs for global projects

In 2020, amidst the Covid pandemic, Global eLearning hosted it’s first global conference to showcase the stories that are shaping the future.  The annual conference was broadcast globally.  The monthly video series is designed to take that concept forward to create an ongoing look at the stories that are shaping our future, even as the world begins to reconvene for more in-person events.
